Make a difference - become a mentor
Leadership Forward would not be possible without our dedicated team of volunteer mentors. Our mentors focus on providing college, career, and community readiness support to high school students in Dallas through one-on-one mentorships, so that our students can make informed decisions and be prepared for life after high school. It is important to us to recruit the best mentors possible who understand the significance of their role and the dedication it takes to be an effective mentor. We expect for our mentors to meet with their students on average twice a month, as well as to make every best effort to attend our community events and workshops with their mentees and their families so that they can further strengthen their relationships. This time investment pays off in dividends for our students and provides a truly rewarding experience for our mentors.
